Eric Eggert, CIC, CIRMS of Mackoul Risk Solutions will discuss some of the most frustrating areas of the insurance industry, claims and hiring contractors, and help clarify the confusion surrounding these two topics.  Eric will discuss the ins and outs of the claims process; from trying to prevent claims from occurring, to claim payouts, and everything in between.  He will also give guidance on how to properly hire contractors while reducing your risk as a property manager and/or board member.

CAI-NJ Covid 19 Protocols

The CAI-NJ Board of Directors has amended the Covid-19 policy for all attendees of CAI-NJ sanctioned meetings, programs, and events. This policy will be re-evaluated monthly by the CAI-NJ Board of Directors. Please refer to CDC guidelines for updates.

Attendance guidelines:

1.    Provide proof of COVID Vaccination, along with a photo ID, at the check-in table for chapter meetings and events. Currently, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) defines fully vaccinated as two (2) doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines or one (1) dose of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine two weeks prior to attendance. Refer to the CDC guidelines for updates on what is accepted as fully vaccinated, OR

2.    Provide proof of a negative PCR Covid-19 test taken within 72 hours of arrival on-site, along with a photo ID. The test must be administered by a medical professional, presented on official paperwork, and not be self-administered.

3.    Wearing a mask is strongly encouraged.
